Realme today launched its latest P-series phone, the P2 Pro, in India. It features a curved AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset and a 50MP main camera using Sony’s LYT-600 sensor. Along with the new phone, Realme also introduced a budget Android tablet – the Realme Pad 2 Lite. The device features a 10.95 LCD, Helio G99 chipset and a 8,300 mAh battery.
Realme P2 Pro
The Realme P2 Pro sports a 6.7-inch curved OLED screen with a resolution of FHD+ and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, has a peak brightness of 2,000 nits, and has a 32MP front-facing camera.

It comes in Parrot Green and Eagle Grey colours, with a BioVision design that features elements that become visible when exposed to light. The phone is IP65 rated against water and dust and has a shock-absorbing midframe for improved drop protection
It has a large squircle-shaped camera island that houses a 50MP main camera with Sony’s 1/1.95” LYT-600 sensor and OIS. There is also an 8MP ultrawide lens with a 16mm equivalent focal length. The other two cutouts are for the LED flash and the sticker.
Realme has offered Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset with 8/12GB RAM and 128/256/512GB storage options. Realme has also added a 4,500mm2 vapor chamber to keep thermals in check.
Talking about the software, it has Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14, with which Realme has promised to provide 2 Android version updates and 3 years of security updates.
Talking about the specifications, it has a 5200mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging, which promises 0-50% charging in 19 minutes.
Starting price of Realme P2 Pro Rs. 21,999 ($260) for the 8/128GB trim. There is a 12/256GB variant Rs. 24,999 ($300) While the top 12/512GB trim is priced at Rs. 27,999 ($330)The early bird sale is set to begin on September 17 via Realme’s online store and partner retailers.
Realme Pad 2 Lite
The Relme Pad 2 Lite is a budget tablet that runs on Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14. It features a 10.95-inch IPS LCD with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device features quad speakers with OReality audio and features a dual-tone back with a vegan leather finish.
The Pad 2 Lite is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset paired with 4/8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that can be expanded via a microSD card slot. There is an 8MP main camera at the back while there is a 5MP selfie shooter on the front. The battery is 8,300 mAh and supports 15W charging.
Realme Pad 2 Lite comes in Space Gray and Nebula Purple colors. The 4/128GB version is priced at Rs. 14,999 ($180) While the 8/128GB trim will go for Rs. 16,999 ($200)The date of the first sale will be announced soon.
