Realme recently launched its flagship GT 7 pro smartphone and the company is now preparing to announce another premium device. It will be called Realme Neo 7, which will have a bigger battery under the hood. Some features of the device have also been leaked online. Realme Neo 7 is all set to launch on December 11. Here’s everything you need to know.
Ahead of the launch event, the company has confirmed the battery details of the upcoming Realme Neo 7 smartphone. The brand claims on Weibo that this Realme phone will have a large battery of 7,000mAh. Realme says that on a single charge, users will get up to 23 hours of video playback, up to 89 hours of music playback time and up to 14 hours of video calling time.
Furthermore, Realme is promising to provide users with a slimmer body despite integrating a great battery inside the phone. According to the company, the body of the handset will be 8.5mm thin. While the rest of the details are under wraps, the teaser suggests that the Realme Neo 7 will have a punch-hole display design and have rounded corners.
As for other specifications, the leak suggests that the upcoming Realme phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset. Realme is claiming that using this mid-range premium Neo 7 smartphone, users will get a score of more than 2 million on Antutu. The device has also received an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
The Realme Neo 7 is rumored to feature an AMOLED panel with support for 1.5K resolution. The handset will likely offer support for 80W wired and bundle the retail box charger, as is the case with other Realme phones. It is expected to run on the latest Android 15 OS.
At present it is unknown whether the same device will also come to the Indian market or not. There is a possibility that Neo 7 may be introduced in the mid-range segment in the GT series. But, nothing has been confirmed and we will have to wait to see. We have rarely seen a phone with 7,000mAh power in India and this device could provide relief to users who want very long battery life and a good gaming experience, something the brand is suggesting through teasers.
