Realme 16 Pro and 16 Pro Plus India prices leaked hours ahead of launch today
Realme’s upcoming 16 Pro series may enter India’s mid-range market at familiar starting prices, with leaked details indicating the return of a higher-priced Pro+ model ahead of today’s launch.

Realme is set to unveil its next mid-range smartphone lineup in India today, but even before the official announcement the spotlight has turned to the price. Just hours ahead of the launch event, alleged India prices for the Realme 16 Pro series have surfaced online, giving a clear indication of where the new phones could land. The company is expected to unveil two models under the lineup, including Realme 16 Pro 5G and Realme 16 Pro+ 5G, during a livestream to be held at 12 noon on Realme India’s official YouTube channel and social media platforms. Pricing, availability details and launch offers are likely to be confirmed during the event, with sales expected to begin via Flipkart and Realme India online store. Here are all the details.
Realme 16 Pro and 16 Pro Plus India price information leaked ahead of launch today
According to well-known tipster Paras Guglani, the price of the base 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant of Realme 16 Pro 5G can start from Rs 31,999. The same phone is also said to be offered in two higher configurations, with the 8GB + 256GB model expected to be priced at Rs 33,999 and the top-end 12GB + 256GB variant expected to be priced at Rs 36,999. If accurate, it appears that Realme is sticking to the pricing strategy it adopted with its previous Pro models.
Positioned as the more premium offering in the lineup, the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G is expected to be positioned much higher. According to the leak, the entry-level 8GB + 128GB version of the Pro+ may be priced at Rs 39,999. The 8GB + 256GB variant could come at Rs 41,999, while the highest 12GB + 256GB configuration could reach Rs 44,999. These figures place the Pro+ close to the Rs 45,000 segment, making it the most expensive Pro-series phone launched by Realme in the segment so far.
Interestingly, the leaked prices are in line with the previous report, which mentioned a box price of Rs 43,999 for the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G. Since box prices are usually higher than the final selling price announced at launch, the figures circulating online are considered fairly reliable. That said, Realme hasn’t confirmed anything officially yet, and the final prices will be known only after the launch event is over.
Looking at Realme’s recent pricing history adds some context to these leaks. Realme 15 Pro 5G, launching in July 2025, starts at Rs 31,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB variant and goes up to Rs 38,999 for its highest model. That lineup did not include a Pro+ version. Earlier, the starting price of Realme 14 Pro+, which came in January 2025, was Rs 29,999. Over time, while the base price of the Pro model has remained largely stable, the price of higher variants has steadily increased. The return of the Pro+ branding now pushes the upper end of the lineup closer to Rs 45,000, suggesting a broader trend of rising smartphone prices due to rising memory and component costs.
Realme 16 Pro and Pro Plus: A quick look at the specs
On the hardware front, Realme has already confirmed several key details. Both the Realme 16 Pro and 16 Pro+ will have a large 7,000mAh battery and a 200MP primary rear camera. The Pro+ model will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, while the standard Pro will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Max chipset. Camera capabilities will vary slightly between the two, with the Pro+ also getting a 50MP periscope telephoto lens.
Both phones are confirmed to have AMOLED displays with a maximum brightness of up to 6,500 nits. On the software side, the devices will run Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0 and three years of OS updates are promised. At the leaked price points, the Realme 16 Pro series is expected to compete directly with phones like the OnePlus Nord 5, iQOO Neo 10, and the OPPO F31 Pro+.
