Realme recently released its next generation smartphones under the Realme 14 Pro series. Following the tradition, the series started with two variants, namely Realme 14 Pro and Realme 14 Pro+. We have been using the Pro+ variant for two weeks and it impresses. The phone excels in many areas including the unique design language, huge battery, beautiful camera and excellent viewing experience. We’ve covered it all in a detailed review, but if you want to save time, here’s the Realme 14 Pro+ review in 5 points.

design: The Realme 14 Pro+ comes with a unique design pattern, especially the Pearl White variant. As the name suggests, this variant features a pearl-like texture and a temperature-sensitive, color-changing rear panel. The color of the panel changes when exposed to cold temperatures, especially below 16 degrees. Blue waves emerge on the surface, creating a pearly effect reminiscent of the ocean. Luckily, the phone was launched during Delhi winters, giving me the perfect opportunity to try out the feature. Read more about design patterns in our detailed review.

Along with its color-changing back, the Realme 14 Pro+ offers several practical design improvements. The phone has a compact form factor and a sleek profile, measuring only 7.99 mm in thickness, making it fit comfortably in the hand.

Display: Realme 14 Pro+ sports a stunning 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Its impressive brightness ensures easy readability even in direct sunlight. The quad-curved design adds a subtle curve to the edges, making the bezels appear thinner and the screen appear larger. The 1.5K resolution is a cherry on top as it enhances activities like watching Netflix, scrolling through Instagram, and playing graphics-intensive games.

Performance and Battery: The Realme 14 Pro+ offers a good performance powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. It runs on Realme UI 6.0, which is based on Android 15. While it may not be a top performer in its price range, it still stands out with its capabilities. It handles tasks typically expected from high-end devices with ease. We also ran some benchmark tests on the phone – read here to know the results.

Supporting this performance is a large 6,000mAh battery, which easily lasts a whole day. During testing, I used the phone extensively for high-graphic gaming, watching Netflix, and hours of social media scrolling. Thanks to its 80W fast charging, the Realme 14 Pro+ takes only an hour to fully charge the phone from 0 percent to a full 100 percent.

Camera: Realme 14 Pro+ is special for its camera. It is equipped with a triple-camera setup, which includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel periscope lens, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter. The rear camera produces sharp and vivid images, delivering impressive photo quality for the sub-Rs 30,000 price range. In daylight, it captures shots with vibrant colours, excellent sharpness and fine details. Even in low-light conditions, the phone performs well, delivering attractive photos with vibrant colors and clear edges. It has a 32 megapixel front camera for selfie. Take a look at the camera samples of Realme 14 Pro+.

Decision: The price of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant of Realme 14 Pro+ is Rs 29,999, many premium features are available at this price. It features a quad-curved display, a 50-megapixel primary camera, a strong 6,000mAh battery, and the powerful Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. Additionally, the unique color-changing rear panel is a rare sight. Overall, the Realme 14 Pro+ is an attractive option worth considering in the price range.
