Realme has an ambitious goal – it wants to double its global user base over the next three years. And it begins with the launch of Realme 14 Pro series in Europe today. This is not all, it is Realme’s first MWC and is making it special with a prototype smartphone with lenses like removable DSLR.
The first unveiled in China, Realme 14 Pro and Pro+ went to India and now have come to Europe. Both models will be available today (March 3).
Realme 14 Pro+ • Realme 14 Pro
Realme 14 Pro starts from+ € 530, while its brother -in -law starts from Vanilla Pro € 430. The Pro+ Flots Premium features a quad-race display, a 50MP 73 mm periscope (3X) and fast 80W charging for its 6,000mAh SI/C battery. It is powered by Snapdragon 7S General 3 and has a gorilla glass 7 eye protection. For more information, see our review (also available in video form).
Realme 14 Pro instead runs a dimension 7300 energy chipset. Its battery has the same capacity of 6,000mAh, but only supports 45W charging. Its performance is flat and has low pixel density, but it is still a 10-bit 120Hz OLED panel. Both models have been rated (including IPX6 and IPX8) and are MIL-STD-810H compliance. The vanilla model lacks the GG7I glass, however. And when it is cheap, you are not only losing periscope cam, but also 8MP ultra-wide and high resolution selfie camera (16MP FF vs 32MP AF).

A part of Realme’s plans to double its user base focuses on AI – it wants to ship a 100 million AI smartphone globally in the next three years. The company prevails two quiet facilities in MWC.
There is an AI Voice Retorch-with this you can only tell the phone what to do, for example, “instead of using the on-screen menu” instead of using “the sky into a sunset”. The other AI video is the eraser, which removes the objects from the video.
The company will also join forces with popular brands to increase its profile. For this year, it has two partnerships: a leading entertainment with IP and a major luxury brand.
Realme is carrying forward the boundaries of smartphone cameras by installing a periscope in its 14 Pro+ mid-ranger. But it is also searching for other possibilities with this prototype device.
Realme’s interchangeable lens concept device
It has a customized 1 ”sensor and a proprietary lens mount system from Sony. It also showed two lenses that go with it: a 73 mm portrait lens and a 234 mm telephoto lens. Both exceed 1 ”sensors and can get image quality that is out of access to the current smartphone, even state -of -the -art.
Of course, it is just a prototype that aims to wow MWC attendees. And did this. But do not expect to see it in the store soon – the interchangeable lens concept is unlikely to go into production on a large scale.
