Realme has confirmed to bring a new smartphone series to India. The Realme 13 series will launch in the Indian market on August 29 at 12 noon. Sending out the invite, Realme has claimed that the Realme 13 series will “redefine the standards in the smartphone industry with unmatched speed.” It also states that the upcoming series will feature the most powerful chipset in the same segment. According to the smartphone company, it has been designed to deliver the strongest performance in the same price segment.

Realme 13 series India launch

The Realme 13 series is set to launch on August 29 after 12 noon. The series will be available on the home-retail website and Flipkart. As per traditions, it is being speculated that the company will launch two devices in the series, including a standard variant. According to the Flipkart micro page, the series will come in two different colors, Sea Green and Gold. The names that will come in the market will probably be different from these.

Realme 13 series: Specs

It is confirmed that the series will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, which promises to be much more efficient than the previous generation. The company claims that the phone scores 7,50,000 on the AnTuTu benchmark. Apart from these, the company has not revealed any details about the upcoming series.

In the teaser, the company has given a glimpse of the upcoming series. It looks like the Realme 13 series will have a smooth marble-like texture on the back panel. The triple-rear camera setup is placed on a circular island on the rear panel. It has a boxy look with a metallic framework. Overall, the back panel of the device is quite similar to the Realme Narzo 70 Pro. Although the dimensions of the display are not clear, the device has a punch-hole display as per the Flipkart microsite. It also has the classic 3.5mm headphone jack.

Realme 13 series: Price in India (expectations)

Realme launched its 13 Pro series in late July at a starting price of Rs 24,500. Since the upcoming Realme 13 series seems to be its younger sibling, the price could also be slightly lower than that. Speculations are that the Realme 13 series will not cross the 30k price mark but won’t go much lower either. If the rumour about two variants is true, the standard variant could be priced around Rs 20,000 and the high-end variant could be priced at Rs 25,000.
