Catching your own fish and cooking it fresh is a truly special experience. For fishing enthusiasts, there is no greater reward than reeling in a fish and knowing it will soon be on your plate. Recently, a viral video from China has left viewers awestruck with the ultimate fishing experience. The footage shows a man sitting on a platform above a calm lake, with a fishing rod in his hand, and a pan of already fried fish next to him. You will be amazed to see what happens next.

The man skillfully pulled out a small fish from the lake. He immediately washed the fish in a nearby bucket of water to remove any dirt, debris or other particles from the caught fish. Next, with a pair of scissors, the man began cleaning the fish, removing any leftover insides, blood or scales. The man then dipped the cleaned fish in a spice mixture, which added flavor to the fish. Finally, he put the pickled fish into the pan, where two other fish were already frying.

The whole process from catching the fish to cooking it took just a few minutes. Both the fish were cooked as soon as the new fish started sizzling in the pan. The man carefully removed them from the pan and placed them on his plate. He then continued eating. “From water to pan – nothing beats the taste of the freshest caught fish!” the man wrote in the caption. Watch the full video here:
