A few days ago, ahead of his 75th birthday, Rajinikanth confirmed a sequel, ‘Neelambari: Padayappa 2’, promising an exciting return to form for Ramya Krishnan’s iconic character. The actor recalled the film’s unmatched craze: Women once “broke down the doors” to see the original 1999 blockbuster.
