Meta is expanding the abilities of its Ray-Bain Meta Smart Glasses, with a new AI feature called a detailed response. This feature uses the built -in camera and meta AI to provide users more descriptive information about their surroundings. Meta has also announced the expansion of its call a volunteer feature. Both announcements are part of Global Exercise Awareness Day.

The new detailed reactions of Ray-Ban Meta aims to bring more hand-free user experience with smart glasses. This feature allows meta AI to provide rich, more relevant information about what the user is looking at. This feature will be particularly helpful for individuals with blind or low visions who rely on the hearing response to understand their environment. According to Meta, the new feature can be enabled under accessibility settings in the Meta AI app by togging on “detailed reactions”.

In a demonstration video shared by the company, Meta AI takes a quick look at how Ray-Ban Meta describes a waterside park, which “well manicated grasses,” trees, and walking routes indicate-more depth than-noble-recognition.

Ray-Ban Meta Detailed Reactions Availability facility

Meta has also announced a comprehensive rollout of its call -e -volunteer feature. This facility has been developed in partnership with B My Eyes Organization. Initially launched in select markets, this AI facility will now be available in all 18 countries where Meta AI is supported.

This feature allows users to connect with the network of volunteers seen more than 8 million in real time, “O Meta, be my eyes.” The volunteer can then see the user’s environment through the live feed from the camera of glasses and assist in tasks such as identifying products, reading or giving direction.

Meta says that with these new characteristics, it aims to improve the rhetoric of Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glass for blind and low vision users. The company said in a blog post, “Ray-Ban Meta Glass offers a hand-free form factor and meta AI integration-the characteristics that help everyone navigate daily life, but can be useful for the blind and low vision community.”
