After marriage with Vijay Deverakonda, Rashmika Mandanna is living a peaceful life. But an old video, reportedly containing his mother’s voice, has resurfaced online, troubling him. Hence, the actress took to social media and gave a statement threatening legal action against those who circulated the video. Read on for more details!

Rashmika Mandanna has given a strong reaction to an old viral video

A few minutes ago, newlywed Rashmika Mandanna had reacted strongly to an old video which is now doing the rounds on the internet. In the audio clip, her mother, Suman Mandanna, is reportedly talking about the alleged harassment that Rashmika faced when she got engaged to actor Rakshit Shetty in 2017.

Obviously, the Animal actress is very impressed with the clip. Therefore, they issued a strong statement warning all media platforms, influencers and individuals to remove the clip within 24 hours. If he does not do so, his team will take legal action. In her note, Rashmika highlighted that it has been eight years since a sustained campaign started against her.

Although she remained patient and silent at the time, she refuses to continue doing so now that her family is involved. His statement said that old conversations have been deliberately taken out of context to create controversy. “For eight years, while the attacks were limited to me, I chose silence. Today, while others are joining in, I can no longer remain silent. I chose to set a limit,” Rashmika wrote.

In the long note, the actress threatened legal action against all those involved in spreading negativity including people who have nothing to do with the matter. Considering this a serious invasion of privacy and dissemination of misleading and defamatory material, they decided to take the legal route.

The Ranabali actress concluded, “You have 24 hours from the time of this statement to do so. Failing which, appropriate legal action will be initiated from tomorrow. This step has not been taken lightly, but it has become necessary.” For those unaware, Rashmika and Rakshit got engaged in 2017. However, they announced their break-up in 2018.
