Rapper and singer Cardi B canceled her ONE MusicFest performance after announcing she was hospitalized following a medical emergency, leaving fans disappointed and worried. In a social media post on October 23, Cardi B reassured her fans that she was safe and appreciated their understanding.
Cardi B’s Instagram note read, “I am very sad to share this news, but I have been in the hospital for the past few days recovering from a medical emergency and I will not be able to perform at ONE MusicFest. Breaks it.” I’m sad that I won’t be able to meet my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there – thanks for understanding, and I’ll be back better and stronger soon. Love you all. Cardi (sic).”

Concerned fans and followers reacted to the post and showered love and best wishes for a speedy recovery. “We love you. Health comes first,” one fan wrote. Another fan wrote, “Your health is important. Get well soon.” A third user wrote, “I hope you’re okay. We love you (red heart emoji).”

Following Cardi B’s post, ONE MusicFest organizers also shared a statement, reading, “Hey #OMFFam! Unfortunately, @iamcardib announced she will not be joining us this year due to ongoing health issues. Are not available. Let us all pray for his full recovery. We are working hard to find a replacement at this late date.”
According to Variety, Cardi B was scheduled to join the starry line-up on Saturday, October 26, which also included Fantasia, Ari Lennox, Method Man & Redman, Young Nudy, Larry June and others. Other artists including Victoria Monet, Glorilla, Keyshia Cole and Sexy Redd were scheduled to headline the show.
On the personal front, Cardi B recently welcomed her third child with her ex-husband Offset. She shared the exciting news along with heartwarming photos from the hospital on September 12.
