Bollywood power couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, who recently welcomed their first child, made a special place in the industry, but their journey was not easy for success. Recently, actress Barkha Bisht, who worked with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Golian in Raslela Ram-Lala, recalled a moment on the set when Ranveer accepted 30, while Deepika needed 50. She also shared how she came and when she felt less, she used to relax her.
In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Barkha Bisht opened his time to work on Sanjay Leela Bhansali Golian’s Raslela Ram-Lala and their signature are experienced by making big-to-life film production. He revealed that whenever the filmmaker lost his temper, the whole set would be silent, even Ranveer Singh. She said that when she never faced her anger personally, she saw it for the first time.
Asked if Bhansali ever lost his cool with Ranveer, Barkha shared that he never did, because of Ranveer’s personality. He said that while his dedication is well known, his ‘joyful and pleasant nature’ also plays an important role. He shared that he has a way to spread stressful situations, ensuring that the conflict does not grow, and maintains a positive atmosphere on the set.
Barkha Bisht praised Ranveer, leaving a permanent impact remembering an incident. She shared that on television sets, she was known as a ‘One-Tech’ actor and put that confidence with her. However, while filming Ram-Lala, she struggled with a shot, requiring 16.
He said, “I was worried, and I felt that my career is over when Ranveer came and gave me rest. He told me that he had given 30 to 30, while Deepika took 50.
Meanwhile, Golian’s Raslela Ram-Lala starred in the roles starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Richa Chadha, Gulshan Devaiya and Supriya Pathak. The film became the sixth largest -grossing Hindi film of 2013 after its release.
Apart from its entertaining story and stellar cast, Soundtrack of the film also left a permanent impact. Songs like Aang Laga Dey, Lal Ishaq, Lahu Munh Lag Gaya, Nagda Gaia Dhol, Ram Chala Leela, and Tata Tatd became immediate chart-toppers and fans remain a favorite for this day.
