Ranveer Shor recited Tiger Zinda Hai, recalling, returning out of anger for Tiger 3
Actor Ranveer Shor shared that he left ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ due to payment issues. He also remembered that despite not liking his character’s depiction in ‘Tiger 3’, he agreed to be a part of the film.

Actor Ranveer Shori recently revealed that he had rejected director Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ as he was neither satisfied with his role nor payment from the production house. He called ‘Tiger 3’ “yes” despite not liking his character.
In an interview with digital commentary, Ranveer said, “After Tiger, YRF offered me Tiger 2. But, the issue was that the role was younger than prequel. It was appreciating my work in the first film despite Yash Chopra and Salim Khan.”
He said, “When I got the script for the second film, I saw that my role was much smaller than what I did in the previous film, and so my fees were. I was: ‘Why are you doing this?’ My argument was that if my role is being liked, then my fees should increase and even my screen should be time: ‘We can offer all this.’ After that, I turned down it.
Highlighting his dicison to act in ‘Tiger 3’, the actor said, “When the time to make Tiger 3 came, actor Girish Karnad passed away. So, after that, I was left with only one with Tiger’s original team. This time he contacted again, but with the same issue. I said. I said: ‘Yes’. This made me angry.

He said, “This time he offered me decent money. It was not very good, but a good amount. I went completely to kill my character in the film. His death reminded me of the end of the first film.”
‘Tiger 3’ featured actors Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in lead roles. The film YRF was a part of the detective universe. Actor Hrithik Roshan’s ‘War 2’ was opened for mixed reviews from the same universe.
Released in December 2025 is ‘Alpha’, actor Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh, the next detective-thriller of YRF.
