Talking about his life, career and everything in between, the actor said that back in the time when his father Rishi Kapoor ruled Bollywood, the audience used to forgive actors even if they did films on the same story.

But according to him, he is not so forgiving now. Citing the example of his commercially successful film Animal, he said that he was scared when he first heard its story.

In support of his statement, Kapoor argued that for the past one year he has been doing good films with a social message and playing the ‘good boy’ in romantic films. Then he got this bold and ‘adulterated’ film. He was afraid that the audience would not accept him in this role.
