Actor Ram Charan met Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in Mysore on Sunday. At the meeting, the actor was in the city to shoot for his film ‘Peddi’. The Chief Minister shared photos from the meeting on the social media platform X, which was earlier known as Twitter.
In the caption with the pictures, Siddaramaiah wrote, “Telugu actor Ram Charan, who is participating in the shooting of the film ‘Peddi’, met me today in Mysore and talked for a while (SIC).”

The death of Allu Kanakaratnam held a meeting amid a brief stop in the film’s production program. She was the wife of Telugu actor and Padma Allu Ramalingaiah. He died at the age of 94. Allu Arjun’s cousin, Ram Charan canceled the shoot for a short period of period to participate in family commitments.
‘Paddi’ is directed by Buchi Babu Sana and is characterized by Ram Charan in a converted rural avatar. The actor will appear in a rugged look, which will have long hair, a thick beard and nose ring. This will also mark an important departure from their previous roles.
Along with Ram Charan, the film will also include actors Janhvi Kapoor, Shiv Rajkumar, Jagapati Babu and Divyendu Sharma.
Production is to be placed on an ambitious scale. The report earlier said that a wide village set has been constructed in Hyderabad to lend authenticity for the film’s setting.
Venkat Satish Killaru produced the film under the old cinemas, with a presentation by Mathey filmmakers and Sukumar Writing. The technical crew includes Rathanvelu in charge of cinematography, composition of AR Rahman music, and editing by Naveen Nuli.
‘Paddi’ is scheduled to release on March 27, 2026. Its release in theaters matches with Ram Charan’s birthday.
