Ram Charan’s wife Upasana recently spoke about giving birth to her daughter Klin Kara Konidela in a luxurious environment. During an interview with The Node, she spoke in detail about her delivery experience in Hyderabad. Upasana also said that she wishes people in our society celebrate childbirth more than marriage.
Talking about having the comforts of home while giving birth in the hospital, Ram Charan’s wife said, “I wanted to give birth in an environment which was like a hotel and have the comforts of home while being in the hospital… Then I thought, why only me? I think all women should get this experience.”
Speaking about how childbirth should be celebrated, Upasana said, “Childbirth is as important as marriage or even more important… People take it as a normal thing, but you don’t know what women have to go through to get pregnant, during pregnancy and after delivery. So I feel childbirth should be celebrated more than marriage.”
Ram Charan and his wife Upasana welcomed their daughter Clin Kara Konidela on June 20 at Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad. The couple welcomed their first child after almost 11 years of their marriage. After the birth of the daughter, the entire Konidela family was overjoyed and celebrated the occasion with their loved ones.
In many interviews, Ram Charan has expressed his happiness and excitement on becoming a father. He told how much he loves spending time with his daughter Klin Kara.
As Klein Kara turned one, Upasana shared an emotional video reflecting on her first year of motherhood. The video also included moments from Klein Kara’s birth and naming ceremony.
