Rakul Preet will work with Ajay Devgan again, will work in ‘De De Pyar De 2’, will shoot in Punjab
Rakul Preet Singh will reportedly start shooting for ‘De De Pyar De 2’ in September. Ajay Devgn will join her later, once he completes his ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ schedule in the UK.
Actors Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh are set to work together again in ‘De De Pyaar De 2’. The two will reprise their roles from the first part. Rakul will soon leave for Punjab to complete a schedule, while Ajay Devgn will join her after completing the UK schedule of ‘Son of Sardaar 2’.
According to recent reports, a source from the production team of De De Pyaar De 2 revealed, “The production is currently busy prepping for a 45-50 day schedule at some beautiful and rustic locations in Punjab. R Madhavan, Rakul and the rest of the cast and crew members will leave for Punjab next month while Ajay Devgn will join after his Son Of Sardaar 2 schedule, which is being filmed in the United Kingdom.”
The sequel introduces R. Madhavan as Rakul’s father, showcasing an interesting battle of wits between him and Ajay’s character Ashish.
Earlier, Rakul Preet Singh and Ajay Devgn’s on-screen pairing in ‘De De Pyar De’ was amazing. Rakul played the vivacious Ayesha and Ajay played the middle-aged Ashish, which was loved by the audience. Their conversations had a mix of romance and comedy, creating an enjoyable and memorable cinematic experience that impressed the audience a lot.
‘De De Pyaar De 2’ will release in the summer of 2025.
