This week, a picture was broadcast on social media claiming that Kuala Lumpur-based production and distribution company Malik Steam was hosting a competition, giving fans a chance to meet Rajinikanth. After the confusion after the post, Rajinikanth’s representatives dismissed the competition as ‘fake’ and warned against misleading fans. In response, the organizers threatened legal action against those who tried to harm their reputation.

“In Malik streams, we take the matter very seriously. It is not our first competition or programs, and our track records speak for ourselves. Any attempt to confuse the public with false information about our marketing processes, or to tarnish the prestige, will not be taken against such wrong and harmful people.

A few hours after conflicting statements, there was confusion among the Rajinikanth fans, another statement clarified that it was all ‘misunderstanding’. The experienced actor’s team wrote, “Explanation statement! Because of earlier misconceptions, there was some confusion about the cool meat and greeting thalaor competition by Malik streams. Now we confirm that the competition is valid, held with the necessary details, and is open for participation. We thank all the fans for their understanding and unwanted support.”

Earlier, on August 23, the ‘Jailor’ actor team made a statement and pacified the incident fake and unauthorized.

“All dear, we would like to clarify that the ‘Meat and Greet Thalaor’ competition which is currently being promoted by Malik streams in Malaysia, is completely unauthorized, fake, and announced from Thalaor (SIC) without obtaining any prior permission,” the statement states.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth was last seen in ‘Coolie’. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film also starred Nagarjuna, Saubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, Satiraj, Upendra and Aamir Khan.
