In front of its much awaited release, the plot of actor Rajinikanth-starrer ‘Cooli’ may have been leaked online. Despite the film’s makers being careful, a possible story has come out, which does not share much.

According to social film Discovery Website LetterboxdThe film features Rajinikanth as a deity, once a powerful gold smuggler. The description states that Dev is now old and wants to bring back his old gang. He does this using stolen technology that is hidden inside the old gold watches.

These watches help him rebuild their old team. But his plan is not as expected. The return starts as something is very large. A new underworld is eventually created at a crime, greed and twisted time.

Interestingly, this is not the first conspiracy to be displayed on the website. An earlier version has described ‘Cooli’ as a film that “the tireless discovery of a man for vengeance since youth is inspired to correct previous mistakes, which has shaped his existence.”

Since the manufacturers placed the story in wrapped, it will be interesting to see which version is true.

‘Cooli’ is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. It has a star-stodist artist including Aamir Khan (in a cameo), Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, Satyaraj, Upendra and Shaubin Shahir. This is the filmmaker’s first project with Rajinikanth.

The film is slapped for a dramatic release on the weekend this year. It will hit Hrithik Roshan at the box office on 14 August with Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR’s film ‘War 2’. Both films are expected to draw a huge crowd.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth was last seen in the film ‘Vetaiyan’ with Amitabh Bachchan.
