The actor was admitted to a hospital in Chennai for a non-invasive procedure on his heart. PM Modi spoke to his wife Lata Rajinikanth and inquired about his health.
In a post on X, Rajinikanth wrote, “My dear Honorable Prime Minister Shri @NarendraModi ji… thank you very much for your care and concern about my health and for checking on me personally.”

Rajinikanth has now been discharged from the hospital. He will take rest for a few weeks before resuming work on director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s film Coolie.
