Superstar Rajinikanth, who has recently shot for her upcoming film ‘Cooli’, has now started working on her next project, ‘Jailor 2’. He attended shooting in Kozhikode, Kerala to resume his role as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian in the sequel to 2023 blockbuster ‘jailer’.

In a video of the location, the superstar was welcomed on the set with the chart-buster song ‘Hukam’ from the first installment, composed by Anirudh Ravichender. He is allegedly shooting at Sudarshan Bungalow in Cheruvanur, Kozhikode, one of the primary places for the Kerala schedule.

The film is being placed extensively, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures. While Kannada actor Shiv Rajkumar confirmed his return, Telugu star Nandamuri Balakrishna is also expected to play an important role.

Meanwhile, Nelson met him on the set of ‘Hridaypurvam’ by Mathew as speculation about the return of Malayalam superstar Mohanlal. Recently, reports also suggested that the manufacturers are interacting with Fahd Fascil for an important role, although an official confirmation is still waiting.

Kerala’s schedule is expected to spread for 20 days, in which Rajinikanth participates in the first six. Filming is being held under tight security, and actor is living in Kadavu resort of Ramnatukra.

Rajinikanth’s presence has already provoked fan fanfare in Kerala, in which the crowd is gathering along its travel route between Anikatti and Mangarai. During such a visit, he made a stunning journey at the Matheshwaran Shivan Temple, where he participated in a brief puja.

After earning more than Rs 600 crore worldwide, ‘Jailor’ made a big comeback for Rajinikanth and set high expectations for his sequel.
