Action King Arjun Sarja’s daughter Aishwarya Arjun and noted actor-director Thambi Ramaiah’s son Umapathi Ramaiah got married in a private ceremony on June 10. The wedding ceremony took place at Hanuman Temple in Gerugambakkam, Chennai in the presence of friends and family.
Now, in a fresh update, a star-studded reception ceremony was held on the eve of June 14, which was attended by several celebrities and prominent politicians. Take a look!

The reception ceremony took place at the luxurious Hotel Leela Palace in Chennai. Several pictures of this ceremony are now doing the rounds on social media. In the pictures, Thalaivar Rajinikanth is seen with his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth. Both of them gave their lovely blessings to the newlywed couple.
On the other hand, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin was also present at the event. His wife Durga Stalin was also present with him.
Meanwhile, Jackie Shroff, Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi, Lokesh Kanagaraj and Prabhu Deva were also spotted at the grand reception ceremony.
Kannada actor Dhruva Sarja also became a part of the royal ceremony along with other prominent faces of the industry.
Aishwarya and Umapati’s work front
In 2013, Aishwarya Arjun made her feature film debut with the Tamil film Pattathu Yaanai directed by Boopathy Pandian. The film starred Vishal in the lead role.
She also appeared in her father’s bilingual Hindi-Tamil film Prema Baraha/Soldidawa starring Chandan Kumar in the lead role. According to reports, Aishwarya will soon make her Telugu debut with Vishwak Sen and the project will be directed by Arjun Sarja himself.
On the other hand, Umapathy Ramaiah debuted in 2017 with the film Adhagappattu Magajanangalaya directed by Inbasekhar. He was last seen in the film Thaane Vandi in 2021. Meanwhile, Umapathy’s latest film Pithala Mathi was successfully released in theaters on June 14, 2024.
