Tollywood superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna has completed 50 years in the Telugu film industry. On Sunday, September 1, superstar Rajinikanth celebrated the milestone and congratulated him on social media. Calling him the ‘Action King’, Rajinikanth called it a ‘huge achievement’.
Balakrishna, also known as Balayya, made his debut in the Telugu film industry in 1974 with the film ‘Tattamma Kaala’ (Great-Grandmother’s Dream). It was released on August 30.
On Sunday, Rajinikanth shared an emotional note for Balayya on his official X handle. It read, “Action King! Collection King! Dialogue Delivery King! My dear brother Balayya has completed 50 years in the cinema industry and is still going strong. A great achievement! My heartiest congratulations to him and I wish him peace of mind, good health and happiness throughout his life. God bless.”

Nandamuri Balakrishna will next be seen in a film titled ‘BB 4’. This film will be his fourth film with filmmaker Boyapati Srinu. Earlier, the two have worked in the films ‘Simha’, ‘Legend’ and ‘Akhanda’.
