Rajesh Tailang on working with Janhvi Kapoor in ‘Uljhan’: There is a glimpse of Sridevi in it
Rajesh Tailang praised Janhvi Kapoor and her late mother Sridevi while talking about his upcoming film ‘Uljhan’. He also praised the acting of his co-stars.
Rajesh Tailang expressed his admiration for his co-star Janhvi Kapoor and her late mother Sridevi. The upcoming film ‘Uljhan’ also stars Janhvi and Rajesh along with Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew and Adil Hussain.
Rajesh spoke about how similar Janhvi is to her late mother Sridevi. He also called Janhvi a hardworking and down to earth actress.
In an interview mid afternoonHe added, “She is hardworking and spontaneous. She is a supportive and grounded actor, which helps you as a co-star. We were all fans of her mother. You can see a glimpse of Sridevi in her.” Sridevi was known for her incredible talent and versatility, and her legacy continues to inspire actors, including her eldest daughter Janhvi.
Sridevi passed away in Dubai in 2018. Janhvi often talks about her mother in interviews and believes that her mother is a huge inspiration for her.
Rajesh also praised his co-stars, saying, “All my co-stars in ‘Uljhan’ are very sincere and have done a great job. I don’t think I was as good an actor as them when I was their age. Roshan and Gulshan are thoughtful actors who put a lot of thought and hard work into their scenes.”
On the work front, Tailang will next be seen in the satirical film ‘Bandish Bandits 2’ alongside Sakshi Tanwar and Gajraj Rao and a ZEE5 series directed by Sudhir Mishra.
