Rajamouli asked citizens to be vigilant amidst India-Pakistan tension
Filmmaker SS Rajamouli praised the Indian Army and urged citizens to work responsibly amidst India-Pakistan tension.

Amid growing tension between India and Pakistan, filmmaker SS Rajamouli posted a note on social media to express his support for the Indian Army and send a strong message to citizens across the country.
In a tweet that quickly went viral, the director of ‘RRR’ and ‘Bahubali’ praised the armed forces for their bravery and urged the public to work responsibly during these sensitive times.
“Salute to our brave Indian armed forces for their unwavering courage to protect our country from terrorism. Let’s stand together as a nation, inspired by their valor, to build the future of peace and unity. If you look at any movement of the Indian Army, do not take pictures or videos. We wrote in tweet.

On the work front, Rajamouli is currently working on one of the most anticipated films in recent years, ‘SSMB29’, which has Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra. After months of speculation, the filmmaker confirmed the project earlier this year.
The shoot for SSMB29 began in January 2025. The film is written by veteran screenwriter Vijayendra Prasad, father of Rajamouli. It is described as an epic adventure, although most plots and character details are being tightly wrapped.
While the full cast list is not officially declared, rumors suggest that Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran may be a part of the film. However, no official confirmation has been done yet.
Currently working under the title ‘SSMB29’, the film is expected to hit theaters in 2028.
