The Berlin actor shared that he has to work hard in such situations.
During his new interaction with Siddharth Kanan’s podcast on his YouTube channel, Rahul Bose opened up about working with actors whom he believes are not good at acting.
When asked if he turns down a role after knowing that his co-star is not a good actor, Rahul said that he often shares his opinion with the makers that his co-star is not good and asks about his casting in the project. However, when the makers feel otherwise, he leaves the project, the senior actor said.
Rahul further added that he rejects such projects as the Dil Dhadakne Do actor believes that the film will not be successful if the makers cast a bad actor. Talking about his experience of working with such actors, Rahul said, “I have to work very hard with them and I have.”
The Jhankar Beats actor talked about how he asks some of his co-stars to practice dialogues with him even though he feels he is not confident about his dialogues. However, those actors believe that they are doing it for him, he added.
Talking about if he has faced any artist who doesn’t perform well despite these rehearsals, Rahul shared that he asks the director not to use this scene. The Bulbul actor clarified that he does this with artistes who are not stars.
In the same interview, Rahul Bose recalled working with Tripti Dimri on the sets of Anushka Sharma’s production, Bubul. Rahul revealed how he shot the rape scene with the actress. Describing it as “tough”, the senior actor shared that he used to become a “beast” while shooting the scene. He remembered that he told his co-star Tripti to use the safe word ‘Rahul’ if she felt unsafe or aroused. Rahul made her comfortable by saying that he would stop after hearing the word out loud.
