Radhika Apte to join Puri Jagannadh’s next Tabu and Vijay Sethupathi: Report
After years from Telugu cinema, Radhika Apte is re-associated with filmmaker Puri Jagannadh for allegedly a deep Pan-India project, including Vijay Sethupathi and Tabu.

Radhika Apte, after a long gap, is allegedly ready to return to the Telugu screen in the upcoming Pan-India film of director Puri Jagannadh, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Tabu. It marks his return to South cinema after several years, expected to begin in June with shooting.
According to a Galte report, Radhika Apte, known for her roles in Telugu films like Dhoni and Legend, is likely to play an important role in Jagannadh’s new project. He is expected to campaign with Vijay Sethupathi and Tabu being described as an intensive, Pan-India story, although an official confirmation is yet to be made.
Famous for choosing unconventional roles, Radhika is making a comeback to Telugu cinema after a acclaimed international run. His most recent project, Sister Midnight, had a premiere at Cannes Film Festival and earned BAFTA nomination.
On a personal note, Radhika recently celebrated her first child’s arrival with husband Benedict Taylor, shared joy on social media. Although Vijay Sethupathi is confirmed to move towards the film, the report states that he will be paired with Radhika Apte instead of Tabu, although the manufacturers have not officially confirmed this.

Tabu’s participation in the film was announced earlier this month. Sharing the news, the manufacturers wrote: “He is electric. He is an explosive. He is Tabu. Proudly welcoming the gem of Indian cinema, actress Tabu, for a role on the board, for a role for a role on the board, as is dynamic as her presence in #Purisethupathi. (SIC).”

Tabu was last seen in ‘Dune: Professi’, while Vijay Sethupathi was seen in Viduthalai Part 2. Director Puri Jagannadh, who is also producing the film with Charm Kaur under a Puri Connect banner, seems to be banking on strong casting options for his return.
