The day we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived. That’s right, Kalidas Jayaram has tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Tarini Kalingarayar in a traditional ceremony in the presence of his loved ones and family members. The couple got married today on December 8 at the Guruvayur Sri Krishna Temple in Kerala.
Kalidas and Tarini’s wedding was an intimate affair attended by veteran actor Jayaram, his wife Parvati and the bride’s parents, Arathi and Harihar Raj. Many other A-listers including Suresh Gopi and Mohammed Riyas also arrived at the ceremony with their wives to bless the newlywed couple.

The wedding attire of Kalidas Jayaram and Tarini exuded timeless elegance. The Raayan actor wore a red mundu with a melmundu. Her outfit was styled in the traditional Panchakacham manner. Whereas, Tarini was seen in a red saree with golden embroidery. She completed her look with statement jewelery and jasmine flowers in her hair.

At the couple’s pre-wedding ceremony, Jayaram expressed his excitement about his son’s wedding and said, “This is the happiest day of my life. Kaali’s wedding is a dream for us. We are very happy, especially Tarini our Family as a daughter.”
The engagement of Kalidas Jayaram and Tarini took place on 10 November in Chennai. She shared beautiful pictures from the ceremony on her social media handle. Kalidas captioned the pictures, “We got engaged.” The couple wore matching traditional outfits for the event.
Celebrities like Sudha Kongara, Megha Akash and Aparna Balamurali attended the engagement.

Talking about the work front, Kalidas Jayaram was last seen in the film Raayan. He played the role of the protagonist’s younger brother in the film, which starred Dhanush in the lead role.
