Qualcomm Snapdragon X arrives in India, promises AI PC with multi-day battery life

Qualcomm on Monday introduced its Snapdragon X platform for laptops in India. Snapdragon X, which has beefier compared to Qualcomm Chips in the smartphone, is designed keeping AI-related features and long battery life in mind. For that purpose, Qualcomm believes that Snapdragon X will offer machines offering its laptop partners such as ASUS and Lenovo that are slim, light, sufficiently powerful and long -lasting batteries.

Qualcomm explains that its Snapdragon X platform is built around the CPU, which promises 163 percent faster than the contestants – Intel Core i5 Chips – Read at the same power level.

One of the standout features of the new Snapdragon X platform is its AI performance. The company revealed that the platform is capable of reaching 45 tops, which should help in A-Intensive Workload. Debuting with Snapdragon X platform is the new Asus Vivobook 16 and Zenbook A14. These laptops are now available for pre-order. The Vivoook 16 has been launched at an initial price of Rs 65,990, while Zenbook A14 is available at an initial price of Rs 99,999.

For sales and customer experience, Qualcomm has announced a partnership with retailers such as Croma and Flipkart. The company recently launched an offline experience area in Croma in Mumbai, where users may experience Snapdragon ecosystem. For e-commerce, the company has stated that Snapdragon X platform devices Flipkart will be available through minutes, where users can expect delivery within 10 minutes.
