Woman dies, son seriously injured in stampede during Pushpa 2 screening in Hyderabad
A huge crowd of Allu Arjun fans turned out for the premiere of Pushpa 2 in Hyderabad, but the event turned tragic when a stampede broke out and a woman lost her life.

The premiere of Pushpa 2 in Hyderabad turned into chaos and tragedy on December 4 at Sandhya Theatre, Hyderabad as a huge crowd gathered to watch Allu Arjun. A 39-year-old woman has died and her son is in critical condition following a stampede-like situation outside the theatre. Arjun made a surprise appearance at the event with heavy security and police protection.
The woman, Revathi (39), a resident of Dilsukhnagar, had gone to Sandhya 70 mm theater on RTC Cross Road with her husband Bhaskar and two children Mr Tej (9) and Sanvika (7) to watch the premiere show of Pushpa 2. ,
When? Allu Arjun reached the theater Fans rushed inside, desperate to catch a glimpse of him. During the stampede that followed, Revathi and her son Shri Tej became unconscious. The police immediately admitted him to Durga Bhai Deshmukh Hospital in Vidyanagar.
Revathi was declared dead on arrival, while Mr Tej, who was in critical condition, was shifted to KIMS hospital in Begumpet.
Later, Revati’s body was taken from Durga Bhai Deshmukh Hospital to Gandhi Mortuary.
When Allu Arjun arrived around 10:30 pm on Wednesday night, there was chaos near the theatre. The situation turned into a stampede-like situation as police struggled to control the huge crowd.
After screening, Allu Arjun was seen leaving the venue Under tight security and police protection. He briefly waved at the fans from the sunroof and requested them to clear the way for vehicles to pass.
