The eagerly awaited film, Pushpa 2: The Rule is setting new standards in advance booking for Indian cinema. Within just a day of the tickets being available, the film has been successful in earning a good amount.

Reportedly, around 55,00 tickets have already been sold across major multiplex chains like PVR, INOX and Cinepolis for its opening day, and overall over 2.59 lakh tickets have been sold. SacnilkAs Allu Arjun’s character says, the audience looks set for wildfire!

Pushpa 2: This rule is being awaited not only in the South belt but also in the Hindi belt. In fact, the advance collection from Hindi 2D ticket booking is more than Telugu 2D. Here is the collection in Hindi vs Telugu:

Hindi 3D – Rs 1.31 crore

The excitement around Pushpa 2 is being compared to classic films like Baahubali 2. It is expected to challenge Baahubali 2’s record of 6.5 lakh tickets sold in 2017. The film is also leaving behind recent hits like Gadar 2 and Animal.

Single screens are selling rapidly in southern states. In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, state-approved ticket prices have increased due to high demand for the Telugu version. It is also to be noted that advance booking for Chennai and Kerala will open from December 1st.

As Pushpa 2: The Rule is set to release on December 5, the massive advance booking highlights the immense excitement for the sequel.
