The entire team of Punjab ’95, along with Diljit Dosanj, is firmly fighting against several cuts suggested by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) in the film. Recently, actor-singer talked about the film during his Instagram Live and said that if he would not support the film when he is released with the cut.
Amar Singh Chakkila actor hoped that the film would soon be released in India. However, he said, “I will only support the film that will be fully released without any cuts. If you release the film without a cut, I will come; otherwise, with the cut, it is not a difference. Soon after, the film’s director, Honey Trehan shared his clip on his Instagram stories and came in support of the film. In his note, the filmmaker expressed that he would not be named as a director of Punjab ’95, if there would be a cut. He clearly condemned the CBFC’s decision and said that he does not support the organization’s inappropriate and politically colorful demands.
Honey said that he is standing through his film and team and will never leave his faith in him. “Justice will be strong soon, and I hope the world soon watch the unique film. Jaswant Singh Khalra is very respected for the martyrdom,” he concluded.
