Hollywood actress Jennifer Aniston has “proudly voted” for Democratic candidate Kamala Harris and her running mate Tim Walz in the US presidential election.
In a social media post, Friend Starr expressed her commitment to important issues such as access to health care, reproductive freedom, and a fair economy. “Today I voted not only for access to health care, reproductive freedom, equal rights, safe schools, and a fair economy, but also for sanity and human decency,” he wrote on X.
Addressing the current political climate, Aniston said, “Aren’t you tired of this negativity towards each other? Bullying and making constant threats to those who don’t think like others?
He urged voters to elect leaders who prioritize unity over discord. He said, “Let’s please end this era of fear, chaos and attacks on our democracy – and vote for someone who will unite us and not continue to threaten to divide us.”
With less than a week to go until Election Day, Aniston encouraged her followers to engage in discussions with friends, family and neighbors about the importance of voting. He declared, “We are so lucky that we get to vote, and this election is in our hands!” He also underlined the importance of every individual’s voice in shaping the future of the country. “Please remember that whoever you are and wherever you live, your voice matters. Your vote matters,” he wrote.

Jennifer Aniston’s support of Kamala Harris comes after controversy over insensitive comments made by JD Vance, Republican nominee Donald Trump’s running mate. Vance previously claimed in a Fox News interview that women without children, including Kamala Harris, whom he referred to as “childless cat ladies”, lacked a “direct stake” in the country. The Ohio senator suggested that such women were unfit to govern.
Aniston, who has shared her struggles with infertility in the past, responded in disbelief, noting that such thoughts were coming from a potential Vice President. He shared a personal note, expressing hope that Vance’s daughter would get the chance to have children and not face obstacles such as infertility treatments, which he appeared to oppose.
Kamala Harris has been endorsed by other prominent figures and public figures in the lead up to the 2024 presidential election. Her supporters include Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, Ricky Martin, Eminem, Lizzo, Usher, Cardi B and Beyoncé. Actors including Leonardo DiCaprio, Sarah Jessica Parker, George Clooney, Mindy Kaling and Robert De Niro have also shown their support for Harris.
