Production of Kalki 2898 Advertising Sequel on director Nag Ashwin: Everyone is busy
2024 blockbuster film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. The director of Nag Ashwin, Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone, talked about the timeline for the much awaited sequel for the conclusion. The second part is not yet to go on the floor.

Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is ready for a long wait. Director Nag Ashwin recently confirmed that the film would take longer to make physical due to its scale and scheduling challenges. He further said that if everything goes well, the shooting will go to the floor later this year.
Speaking of the progress of the project, Ashwin explained, “The actors have to come together. Some pre-containing sequences and action sequences are very large. So it will take some time. I don’t have an accurate answer.” When asked about the busy schedule of all the actors involved, he said, “Everyone is busy, everyone is doing big films than life. It is not a concrete answer, but we expect to start shooting by the end of this year.”
