Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR’s much awaited action thriller ‘War 2’ has suffered a significant blow at the box office, especially in the Telugu states. In an attempt to reduce the loss, Yash Raj Films has allegedly stepped into a compensation package for producer Naga Vamsi and his colleagues. However, the official confirmation about the same is still waiting.

according to a Great Andhra The report, the Telugu version, allegedly acquired by Naga Vamsi and his partners for Rs 80 crore, caused heavy losses. Yash Raj Films is asked to return Rs 22 crore through structured settlements in major areas, with Rs 10 crore for Nizam, Rs 7 crore for Andhra and Rs 5 crore for Sade.

Reports suggest that Naga Vamsi was initially convinced to collect Rs 100 crore alone from the Telugu states, but negative reviews and online trolling reduced the film’s possibilities from the first day. Connecting the challenge, Rajinikanth’s ‘Cooli’ emerged as a prominent viewer, which leads to the box office performance.

Despite the scale of the film, high-octane stunts, and Leeds combined star power, the audience largely rejected the sixth installment of Yash Raj Films’ famous Spai Universe. The film also stars Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Ashutosh Rana, yet their presence could not get the reception.

Meanwhile, the upcoming production of Naga Vamsi, Ravi Teja-Starr ‘Mass Jathara’, was initially prescribed for August 27, has been postponed. Commercial entertainers, which also have Serelela and Rajendra Prasad, are expected to come to theaters soon on a new release date.
