In the comments section, actress Priyanka Chopra reacted using a raised hand, fire and king’s crown emoji. Richa Chadha and Bhumi Pednekar also praised her, while Suniel Shetty sent his love.

Posting a photo of Virat with the trophy and the Indian flag wrapped around him, Anushka expressed her love for him, saying, “And… I love this man @virat.kohli. So grateful to call you home – now drink a glass of sparkling water for me to celebrate it!”

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli too shared a triumphant post with pictures of the celebrations on the field and inside the dressing room. Virat summed up his feelings in the caption, saying, “Couldn’t have imagined a better day. God is great and I bow my head in gratitude. We finally did it 🇮🇳 🇮🇳 Jai Hind.”

In another post, Anushka Sharma congratulated the entire Indian team with a lovely message. Revealing her daughter Vamika Kohli’s concerns, she said, “Our daughter’s biggest worry was whether there would be someone to hug all the players as she saw them crying on TV… Yes, my dears, they were hugged by 1.5 billion people. What a great win and what a great achievement!! Champions – congratulations!!”
