Actress Priyanka Chopra condoled the demise of Zarine Khan on Friday. He recalled old memories and talked about how he will always be remembered.
Veteran actor-filmmaker Sanjay Khan’s wife Zarine Khan died at her Mumbai residence on Thursday following an age-related illness. She is survived by her husband Sanjay Khan and their four children. These include Sussanne Khan, Simone Arora, Farah Ali Khan and actor Zayed Khan.
Taking to her Instagram story, Priyanka wrote, “I will always remember you with immense happiness and incredible energy. You will be missed Zareen aunty.”

Zareen was a close friend of the actor’s mother Madhu, who also shared a post on her Instagram account.

The message came as members of the film fraternity and the Khan family remembered Zarine.
Zarine started her association with Hindi cinema in 1966 before her marriage to Sanjay Khan. She appeared in films like ‘Tere Ghar Ke Samne’ and ‘Ek Phool Do Mali’. Her marriage to Sanjay Khan reportedly began when the two met at a bus stop. This led to a partnership that lasted for decades and established his presence in the social circles of the film industry.
Her son Zayed Khan had shared a love-filled post for his mother earlier this year. He wrote, “Nothing can truly be achieved without your mother’s blessings. Love and peace.”
Sussanne had also expressed her appreciation in the birthday post. She wrote, “Everything I do and everything I create in my life all depends on how you shaped my heart, my mind, and my patience. I am so honored and grateful to be your little girl.”
The Khan family has requested privacy as they mourn Zareen’s death. Friends and well-wishers from the film industry have expressed their condolences to the family.
