The CEO of a private equity firm in the US has been arrested for allegedly strangling to death a 15-year-old boy who threw water at a woman at an In-N-Out restaurant. Lucas Kalisher, 55, CEO of Summit Source Funding LLC, was taken into custody by the Loveland Police Department (LPD) after he attacked the teen and threw him on the floor of the restaurant. Police said the boy accidentally spilled water on the man’s wife while he was having fun with his friends.
“The juvenile male approached the female’s table to apologize when an adult male accompanying the female suddenly grabbed him, grabbed him with both hands around the front and back of his neck, pulled him across the table and threw him backwards onto the floor,” Loveland police said in the arrest report. Witnesses at the In-N-Out Burger watched the incident in shock. In a video posted on Facebook, an eyewitness can be heard objecting, saying the old and fat man was “harassing a child”.
According to the police, the man and his wife left the restaurant before the police arrived at the scene. However, witnesses identified the man, following which the police issued a no-bail arrest warrant. The 55-year-old CEO turned himself in to the police on August 13.
Mr Kalisher has now been charged with a felony count of second-degree attempted strangulation and a minor count of child abuse, the outlet reported. He was arraigned on Wednesday.

It is noteworthy that since the incident, Mr. Kalisher has deleted his Facebook profile and LinkedIn page. In a statement, LPD expressed its gratitude to the public following the incident, as eyewitnesses provided crucial details to identify the CEO.
According to the LPD release, Chief Tim Doran said, “The Loveland Police Department is very grateful for the assistance we received from the community during this investigation. This is a perfect example of our new vision statement: One Community, One Police Department, One Team.”
