Ever since the first-look poster of Prithviraj Sukumaran from SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film ‘SSMB29’ was released, social media has been flooded with reactions, entertainment and fan edits. Now, Kerala Police has joined the trend in its own funny style by using the viral image to promote road safety.

The official Kerala Police Instagram handle shared the poster adding a clever caption in Malayalam, which roughly translates to: “It would have been great if there was a helmet as well. Helmet is mandatory for two-wheeler travel.” The post quickly went viral, with fans praising the department for its creativity and humor.

The makers recently unveiled Prithviraj’s look from the film, where he plays the antagonist Kumbha – a “frightening, cruel and powerful” character. Sharing the poster, Prithviraj described it as “the most complex-minded character he has ever played”, and thanked Rajamouli for creating a world that constantly tests his limits as an actor.

The poster shows Kumbha in a futuristic metal wheelchair with robotic arms, reminiscent of Doctor Octopus from ‘Spider-Man 2′ and Suriya’s role in ’24’.

SS Rajamouli’s ‘SSMB29’, also known as ‘Globetrotter’ is all set to have one of the biggest teaser launches in Indian cinema. The ‘Globetrotter’ event will be held on November 15 at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad and will be livestreamed on JioHotstar. Starring Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles, the event promises to be a visual spectacle, with a massive 130 ft x 100 ft screen, the largest screen used to screen a film in India.
