Prince Harry is no stranger to being in front of the cameras, and this time he put his skills to practice in support of an initiative he deeply believes in. Harry surprised the audience during the event held in Vancouver on November 17, 2024. The 2024 Gray Cup took place in front of over fifty thousand spectators and the Blue Bombers were among the favorites to win. The electrifying halftime show will be headlined by the Jonas Brothers. Previously, the CFL has welcomed many high-profile musical artists for halftime shows over the years, such as Justin Bieber, Shania Twain, Green Day and others.

It was Prince’s first trip to the Gray Cup, and he said he was excited for the championship game between the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Toronto Argonauts. He said he was thrilled as soon as the match started and even expressed interest in joining the league to play the quarterback position if possible.
Harry also provided a preview of the 10th edition of the Invictus Games, which he is patron of and inaugurated in 2014. Harry explained, “[The Invictus Games]is a sporting platform that is used to rehabilitate and support injured soldiers, both serving and veterans. We now have 25 countries which is growing all the time, and it’s really There is an opportunity for individuals and their families to recover and rehabilitate through sport.”
The 2025 edition is scheduled for Vancouver and Whistler in February 2025. It is expected to have over 500 athletes from 25 countries who will compete in events such as wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball and wheelchair rugby. Winter competitions like alpine skiing, snowboarding and wheelchair curling will be held for the first time in these games.
