In case you missed it, we covered Amazon Prime Big Deal Days smartphone offers here. In this article, we’ll focus on tablets – and watches, but watch deals were barely there.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ brings a larger 12.4” IPS LCD (90Hz) and Samsung’s on-screen DeX multitasking (but not over video out). The tablet, like its brother, is powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset and will receive 4 OS updates (one has already launched with Android 13).

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE is a small but not tiny 11” tablet, it also has a 90Hz IPS LCD. Note that while both tablets have microSD slots for additional storage, you may want to choose the 256GB option on the FE since the 128GB one has 6GB of RAM instead of 8GB.

Google recently ditched Pixel tablets for their speaker dock to bring down the price. This makes it hard to use this tablet as a smart display, but you might be able to control your smart home from a Google TV streamer. The Pixel tablet has a 10.95” IPS LCD (60Hz) and an older Tensor G2 chipset.

The Apple iPad 10.2 from 2021 is the latest iPad that is part of the Prime Day deal. It’s still fully supported and quite usable (unless you plan on some AAA gaming), but note that it uses the older Lightning adapter instead of USB-C.

Naturally, Amazon has huge discounts on its tablets. The Amazon Fire Max 11 features a large 11” IPS LCD (60Hz) with stylus support. It’s not the most powerful Android tablet, but it is the most powerful Fire tablet. It is equally good for entertainment and productivity.

There’s also the Amazon Fire 7 – the cheapest brand-name tablet money can buy. If you get the 16GB version it’s only £30. And you should, it’s so slow that using a microSD for storage won’t affect it much.

The Razer Edge isn’t a phone, it’s not even a tablet – it’s an Android handheld console. It features a 6.8” OLED display (FHD+, 144Hz) and is powered by a Snapdragon G3x Gen 1 chip paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (plus microSD expansion). It comes with Kishi V2 Pro controllers. You can use these with your phone, too, but the Edge is pretty powerful for its price (it helps that it’s 50% off).
