Bollywood actress Preity Zinta has opened up about how she and her husband Gene Goodenough struggled with IVF technology before welcoming twins through surrogacy. PrevalencePreeti reflected on the challenges she faced during this period and emphasised the emotional impact it had on her.
Preeti said, “Like everyone else, I too have good and bad days. Sometimes in real life, it is a struggle to be happy all the time, especially when you are going through a tough time. I felt the same during the IVF cycle.”
The actress, known for her vivacious on-screen presence, also revealed how she copes with the demands of social media while staying true to herself. “I like to keep it real because that’s who I am. The content I put up on social media (not all) is usually shot and edited by me, and sometimes you will see my head or leg cut off in some frames, but I’m okay with that,” she revealed.

Preity Zinta’s 2004 hit film ‘Veer-Zaara’ will be re-released in theatres on September 13. Directed by Yash Chopra, the film also featured Shah Rukh Khan in the role of Veer Pratap Singh, who falls in love with Preity’s character, Zaara Hayat Khan.
