Pregnancy was easy: Patilekha eggs-freeing opens on conflicts
Expecting her first child with husband Rajkummar Rao, actor Patikhla opened up about the difficulties during his egg-freeing trip three years ago, which revealed that it was very easy to conceive naturally.
Actor Patilekha, who expects her first child with husband and actor Rajkummar Rao, has clearly spoken about the challenges by traveling her pregnancy and freezing her eggs three years ago. The couple declared their pregnancy in July.
In a conversation with Soha Ali Khan on her YouTube channel, Patilekha revealed that pregnancy naturally became easier than the egg-freeing process, which she had already passed. He said, “I had also set up my eggs about three years ago and now when I am pregnant, I think pregnancy was easier than freezing eggs. My doctor didn’t tell me how difficult it was,” she shared.
He described this process as both physically and emotionally drought. The actress said, “Apart from this, I once had my egg cold. So between the two, I will always advise that young girls should only be pregnant. It is easy to go through the whole process.”
Patilekha remembered that she did not initially feel that she was pregnant, as her home test kit gave negative results. He confirmed the news only after consulting his gynecologist. The couple chose to keep pregnancy private during the first trimester to suit the common practice between parents.
The actor also revealed that his personal milestone matches with a professional commitment. “We had signed to do this journey show in December or January and then felt that we were pregnant in March. By April, we had to go for it and we were contracted. We could not even tell them. We had to do it because we had to do it because it was a commitment, but it was very scary,” he said.
On the work front, Patilekha was last seen in ‘Phule’, which was with Pratic Gandhi.
