Pravinkoodu Shappu is a black comedy crime thriller that follows the investigation of death at a toddy store. After the shop was closed due to rain, 11 people stayed inside, playing cards overnight. However, the next morning, the owner of the Todi Shop, Komban Babu is found hanging in the center of the shop.
As the police investigate the case and question 11 persons, the film focuses on highlighting the true criminal and for the reason that the victim was hung.
Cast and Crew of Entry
The lead roles starked Basil Joseph and Saubin Shahir in the film starring Kamban Vinod Jose, Chandini Sreedharan, Shivajith, Shabresh Verma and many other lead roles.
The film was produced by director Anwar Rashid under his banner Anwar Rashid Entertainment. It was written and directed by Sriraj Srinivasan at the beginning of his direction, composed by Vishnu Vijay.
Cinematography is handled by Sahnu Khalid, while Shafiq Mohammad Ali takes charge of editing. The film received mixed reviews from critics, earning praise for its performance, cinematography, editing and background scores, but faced criticism for its script.
