Soubin Shahir starrer Praveenkoodu Shappu, which was released with a lot of expectations, could not do much on its second day. After taking a below average opening of Rs 1.70 crore, the film witnessed a decline of 15%. Ideally, it should have seen a bounce. However, the next two days will be crucial for the film. It will have to jump to cover lost ground.

Praveenkudu Shappu’s total collection currently stands at Rs 3.10 crore in two days at the Kerala box office. It is expected to end its four-day opening weekend at Rs 5 crore in its home state.

The major reason behind the disappointing performance of Praveenkudu Shappu at the box office is the average word-of-mouth. However, the film could potentially cross the figure well in its entire run. It will be interesting to see how the film performs after its opening weekend.
