Practical Magic is ready to return to Big screen as the 1998 film sequel is in work. According to media reports, Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman are set to resume their roles as Owens Sisters.
In the new update, The Cast and the Crew has started filming, as Babigirl actress and director of the second film, Susain Bear shared a video from the set on her social media.
In the caption of the clip, Kidman, confirming his return to his and the bullock, wrote, “The witches are back.” He said, “Owens Sisters’ on the first day set!”

Since fans estimate the return of Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman on the screen, they will also join the nominated stockard channel of Oscar winner Dianne West and Oscar, whoever, will resume their roles of aunt jet and aunt Franny.
For artists, new faces will also join veterans. According to media reports, Kissing booth star Joy King has been designed to play the role of Sally’s daughter. Other new Joine includes Lee Paes, Massey Williams, Zolo Marriduna and Solli McLeod.
While the character details of the new artists are kept in wrapped, they are expected to shake the pot, making the new film of the franchise compared to the original one.
Meanwhile, Beer has taken the director’s chair for the sequel, while Akiva Goldsman and Georgia Pritchet wrote to the script. The filmmaker has previously worked with eight ocean actresses and Kidman.
He directed Netflix’s bird box, in which the bull acted in the lead role. In addition, Beer also directed Kidman’s recent project, The Perfect Couple.
The original film of the franchise was directed by Griffin Dune. Practical Magic 2 is scheduled to release on 18 September 2026.
