Prabhudeva unveils Moon Walk character poster, hints at 14 crazy roles
Prabhudeva unveiled six character posters for his upcoming film Moon Walk. The musical comedy reunites him with AR Rahman and promises to be a uniquely entertaining release in May 2026.

Choreographer-actor Prabhudeva unveils character reveal posters for the cast of his much-awaited film moon walkTeasing out six of the 14 eccentric roles and establishing each character’s own relationship with Babuti. The project marks the reunion between Prabhudeva and AR Rahman, with Rahman writing and singing all five songs for the musical entertainer.
Prabhudeva shared the poster on X with the caption, “14 crazy characters from Moonwalk. A full-length comedy film, in theaters – May 2026.” He then listed the names and relationships of the characters played by himself, AR Rahman, Yogi Babu, Aju Varghese, Arjun Ashokan and Sathish. He ended the post with the line, “Baboothi’s friends and family revealed,” hinting that the remaining characters would be revealed soon.

The interest lies in how all the characters revolve around the grandeur of Prabhudheva. While Prabhudeva is described as a happy-go-lucky young choreographer, AR Rahman’s character is introduced as an “angry young film director”. Arjun Ashokan, Aju Varghese and Sathish are introduced as Babuti’s cousins and friends, while Yogi Babu’s Dubai Mathew is labeled Babuti’s “Aithiri No. 1”, suggesting that he plays Prabhudeva’s rival in Moon Walk.




Directed, written and produced by Manoj NS under the Behindwoods banner, moon walk Shooting began in May and recently the first song, The Moonwalk Anthem, was released ahead of its scheduled theatrical release in May 2026. Apart from the cast listed above, the film also stars Nishma Chengappa, Sushmita Nayak, Radin Kingsley and Mottai Rajendran.
