Prabhas is currently working on the film Fauji directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, which is scheduled to release in Dussehra 2026. Now, it appears that the actor may soon collaborate with Amaran director Rajkumar Periyasamy or Eko fame Dinjith Ayyathan for his next project.
Will Prabhas act under the direction of Rajkumar Periyasamy or Dinjith Ayyathan?
According to online reports, Prabhas has heard the story from Amaran director Rajkumar Periyasamy and Eko director Dinjith Ayyathan. Both the scripts are reportedly grand ventures and are expected to be pan-India projects under the banner of Hombale Films.
Interestingly, Dinjith Ayyathan recently appeared in a picture with Prabhas during a meeting with the actor. However, the makers are yet to make any official confirmation about the Baahubali actor’s next film.
Earlier, Rajkumar Periyasamy directed the film Amaran, a biopic starring Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles. Currently, the filmmakers are tentatively working on a film titled D55 starring Dhanush, with Mammootty playing the lead role and Sreeleela and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles.
On the other hand, Dinjith Ayyathan’s latest film Eko, titled Padakkalam actor Sandeep Pradeep, is currently streaming on Netflix.
Prabhas’s work front
Prabhas was last seen in the lead role in The Raja Saab. Directed by Maruthi, the horror-comedy revolves around Raja and his rivalry with his late grandfather, an evil spirit residing in a mansion.
Apart from the Saaho actor, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan and Riddhi Kumar in lead roles. The film received an overwhelming response from both critics and audiences upon its release.
Looking ahead, the actor will next be seen in the lead role in the period action drama Fauji. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, the upcoming film will star debutant Imanvi in the co-lead role, along with Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Jaya Prada and others in lead roles.
Additionally, the actor also has Spirit in its lineup. The police action drama, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is scheduled to release on March 5, 2027. Trupti Dimri is playing the co-lead role, the film will be her debut in South Indian cinema. Additionally, Vivek Oberoi is confirmed to play the lead antagonist, the first-look poster of which has already been unveiled.
