Kalki 2898 A.D. has become a showbiz sensation ever since its release on June 27. Some of the big names in the Indian film industry have expressed their excitement about the Nag Ashwin directorial.
Indian cinema stalwarts like Thalaivar Rajinikanth, SS Rajamouli, Ram Gopal Varma and many others couldn’t stop themselves from going gaga over Kalki and shared their candid reactions on social media.
A new feather on the crown of Kalki 2898 A.D.
This film, which has earned 600 crores, has created a new record in its name, and has won its first award. Interestingly, this award has been won by none other than Bahubali fame actor Rana Daggubati.
The Virata Parv actor hosted the promotional event of Kalki 2898 A.D. in Mumbai and appreciated the film director with a customized figure of Star Wars’ iconic character Darth Vader.
Nag Ashwin shared a picture of the figure on his Instagram story and wrote, “Kalki’s first award… from the one and only @ranadaggunati.”
Also, the picture features the iconic Darth Vader holding a surfboard in his hand and indicates that star director Kalki might be enjoying a vacation after the immense box-office success of 2898 AD.
Responding to the story, Daggubati reshared it, and wrote, “There’s more to come,” along with some burning emoticons.
