She has received a lot of appreciation as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj for her performance and the film is also doing very well at the box office. 1. Love and war
Love and War is a Magnum Oppus directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Vicky Kaushal will cooperate with the filmmaker for the first time. This will be reunited with Sanju’s co-star Ranbir Kapoor and Raazi Heroine Alia Bhatt. Pictures leaked from the preparation stage suggested that Vicky and Ranbir would play the role of Air Force officers.
All three leads are shooting for this much awaited project. The film was initially slate to release in theaters at Christmas 2025. However, an official press release in 2024 revealed that Love and War have been postponed by 20 March 2026. This date falls during a long holiday by meeting Ramadan, Rama Navami, and Gudi Padwa.
2. Mahavatar
The Mahavatar is another upcoming period film starring Vicky Kaushal. He will portray the character of Chiranjeevi Parashurama, which is described as the ‘eternal warrior of religion’. The first look was released in 2024. This showed Vicky in a terrible and powerful avatar.
The film will be directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vision. Mahavatar Christmas is slapped for a celebration release on 2026.
